Dr. Martinez is not the scientist you think you know. Brilliant, curious, and relentless, he has always chased knowledge to the farthest edges of human understanding. But nothing in his experience could prepare him for what arrived one stormy night in his London laboratory. His closest friend, Mark, bursts through the door, drenched, shaking, and haunted. His wife, Anna — tireless humanitarian and fearless explorer — has vanished in the remote Andes, a place whispered about for its children born without eyes. Drawn by obsession and the desire to uncover the truth, Martinez follows Mark into a world where nature itself seems to resist them, and where villagers, mountains, and shadows hold secrets that twist reality into something unrecognizable. What begins as a desperate search becomes a journey into horror. They encounter a cult that thrives under the full moon, taking children and returning some maimed, leaving others dead. Martinez is forced to confront the unimaginable, balancing intellect, morality, and the raw, unrelenting force of human evil. This is no ordinary story. It is a diary — the private, unflinching account of a man who dared to confront darkness and record everything he witnessed: the fear, the grief, the moral dilemmas, and the fleeting glimpses of hope. Step inside Martinez’s mind, if you dare.
